Rebecca Berkowitz Studies in Ireland with Penn State Brandywine

Junior Rebecca Berkowitz traveled with Penn State Brandywine to Ireland during spring break 2013 as part of the campus' weeklong distance learning program. These short-term travel opportunities, through Brandywine Global Programs, include pre-travel and post-travel coursework to be completed on an independent study basis, working with the instructor through distance education technologies on each student's own schedule and pace.

Berkowitz joined more than 30 students on overnight visits to Belfast, Dublin and Galway, and saw iconic landmarks and historical sites, such as the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher and Belfast Castle.
